TDS Northern Ireland recognised for their customer service excellence

TDS Northern Ireland has been recognised for its excellence in customer service practice and innovation by the Chartered Institute for Housing, picking up the Excellence in Customer Service Award at the recent Awards Ceremony at Belfast City Hall.

The CIH awards aim to showcase excellence and recognise the people making a difference in communities across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland by raising standards in the private rented sector. The winners were chosen by an independent panel of expert judges.

CEO Steve Harriott, Operations Manager Eamonn Hunt and Membership Executive Sean Timoney collected the honour at the event, and were thrilled to be honoured again this year, as TDS Northern Ireland won the Chairman’s award for outstanding contribution at last year’s event.

Since the introduction of tenancy deposit protection in 2013, through its permanent presence in Belfast and outstanding customer service, TDS Northern Ireland has become the scheme of choice for landlords and letting agents, protecting an astonishing 79% of all deposits registered  according to data published by the Department for Social Development).

Managing Director Ben Beadle said;

“We are delighted CIH have honoured us with this award. We’re in our third year of helping tenants, agents and landlords with the tenancy deposit process and excellent service delivery is extremely important to us, along with a transparent and customer focused approach.

"This award from the CIH is another assurance to tenants, agents, and landlords that TDS Northern Ireland is the first choice for tenancy deposit protection.”
